- Generate your CV based on the information you provide
- Create a PDF version of your CV for download
- Improve our service through conversation analysis (chat messages are processed by OpenAI)
4. Data Storage and Retention
Your data is not permanently stored on our servers. The information you provide exists only during your active session. Once you close your browser or refresh the page, your conversation and CV data are cleared from our system.
Note: Your conversation is sent to OpenAI for processing. OpenAI may retain data according to their own privacy policy. We recommend reviewing OpenAI's Privacy Policy.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to provide our functionality:
- OpenAI (GPT-4): Processes your conversation to extract CV information. Data is sent to OpenAI's servers for processing.
- PDFShift: Converts your CV to PDF format. Your CV data is temporarily sent to PDFShift's API to generate the PDF file.
- Vercel: Hosts our application and processes requests.
6. Your Rights (GDPR & Privacy Laws)
Under GDPR and similar privacy laws, you have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of your data (contact us at the email below)
- Deletion: Your data is automatically deleted when you close your session. No long-term storage occurs.
- Correction: You can edit your information during the conversation before generating your CV
- Portability: Download your CV as a PDF at any time
- Withdraw consent: Simply close your browser to end data processing

We take reasonable measures to protect your data:
- All data transmission is encrypted using HTTPS
- We do not store your data in databases
- API keys and sensitive credentials are stored securely as environment variables
- We use reputable third-party services (OpenAI, PDFShift) that maintain their own security standards
8. Cookies and Local Storage
We use browser localStorage to remember your consent preference. No tracking cookies are used. Your CV data and conversations are stored temporarily in your browser's memory during your session only.
9. Children's Privacy
Our service is not intended for users under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
